We finish of 2017 with the return of former champion turned global superstar ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey. After being taken out in devastating fashion by Holly Holm well over a year ago, Rousey has spent almost no time in the limelight which makes this comeback even more intriguing.

Amanda Nunes (c) vs. Ronda Rousey (BW)
Ronda Rousey will win by armbar. Holly Holm will defeat Germaine de Randamie in February setting up a rematch with Rousey, of which the former Olympian will win, again via armbar. After this Meisha Tate will announce her comeback, setting up another fight with Rousey. Of which Rousey will win. By armbar. She’ll then retire.
Did we just look in to the future? Whether we did or not Rousey will beat Nunes.

Dominick Cruz (c) vs. Cody Garbrandt (BW)
To count Garbrant out of this bout would be ridiculous, he doesn’t’ just have a punchers chance, his boxing is next level. The only problem is, Cruz is like nobody else in the bantamweight division (or any weight for that matter), and Garbarant will struggle to deal with Cruz’s amazing footwork. Expect to see a frustrated Garbrant spend most of this one chasing Cruz to no avail, and it will only take one or two take downs from Cruz in the later rounds to sway the score cards.

T.J. Dillashaw vs. John Lineker (BW)
The important thing to remember here is that this is only a 3 round fight. If it was a championship bout the likely result would be Dillashaw to win on points via better cardio but we have a feeling Lineker might have enough the tank these days to put in the work for 3 rounds and go for the finish.

Louis Smolka vs. Ray Borg (FLY)
Going to be a close one but Borg should be the more aggressive in the one.

Probably the toughest bout to call because Hendricks needs to win and Magny has the potential to beat anyone on his day. We may regret saying this but Hendricks, should he make weight, will show the world why he was once leader of the pack.

He may not be as feared these days but ‘Stun Gun’ is still a force to be reckoned with.

It feels like Mike Pyle has been around forever and that’s because he has! He might be 41 but Pyle could still produce the better performance on the night but he’ll have to work hard for it.

The Ultimate Fighter star will take this one bt don’t expect to see too many fireworks in the process.
