SMUGGLING DUDS UFC FIGHT NIGHT 115 GAMBLING GUIDE

Now that the Mac/Mayweather circus has rolled out of town its time to get back in the UFC mix. Normally we wouldn’t do a Gambling Guide for a fight night unless it's local but since this event is from Rotterdam, that's local enough, and means we’ll all be watching it at a suitable time. So thought we’d hook you up! Not the strongest card but these are the ones that normally produce a cracking main card!

UFC Fight Night 115

MAIN CARD
Alexander Volkov Vs Stefan Struve (HW)
Hard to believe that at 6’7 Alexander Volkov will be the shorter man against the human skyscraper Stefan Struve, who stands at exactly 7 foot. Make no mistake this will be a kickboxing match between very long men! Both men have a plethora of big fights between them, and there fight records read like a catalogue of event appearances (against many formidable opponents) but the bottom line is both men have chosen to stand and bang in recent appearances. Granted Struve scored a submission in his last outing but it won’t be the case this time. The slightly younger Volkov is still relatively fresh faced in the UFC and Struve can often get drawn away from his original game plan. We love Stefan Struve as the bloke has produced some epic fights and been nothing but an entertainer but can he get the win over a seasoned kick boxer trying to make a name for himself in the UFC? We are not so sure.
WINNER: Volkov
METHOD: Decision

Marion Reneau Vs Talita De Oliveira (BW)
Originally lined up to face former champ Germaine De Randemie, who was forced to pull out over injury or more likely avoid the media (she gave up her belt in order to not fight Cyborg) as she would have more than likely beaten Reneau. Most fans will have never of heard of De Oliveira as the most notable difference is her experience. She’s only had 6 fights (and will be making her UFC debut. Reneau is a much older and safer fighter (tends to go for the points win) and it should just be another day at the office for her and she’ll leave thankful it wasn’t De Randemie she was up against.
WINNER: Reneau
METHOD: Decision

Sivar Bahadurzada Vs Rob Wilkinson (MW)
On paper this could be a decent tear up. The 11-0 ‘Razor’ Rob has looked impressive up until this point but how is he going to cope against his toughest opponent to date? Look for Wilkinson to go toe-to-to with a fearless Bahadurzada but secure a submission in the third round.
WINNER: Wilkinson
METHOD: Submission

PRELIMS
Darren Till Vs Bojan Valickovic (WW)
A very evenly matched bout that could produce a great performance from both fighters. Till is a British fighter that still hasn’t experienced the limelight in his hometown but a victory here would turn a few more heads.
WINNER: Till
METHOD: Decision

Leon Edwards Vs Bryan Barberena (WW)
Can the UK native build on his impressive three fight win streak? Its going to be tough as Barberena looked awesome in his last outing. It'll be tough but Edwards should scrape a points win. He's going to have to bring it though.
WINNER: Edwards
METHOD: Decision

Mairhek Taisumov Vs Felipe Silva (LW)
What a fight this one will be. Both Taisumov and Silva know how to switch their opponents lights off so this will just be a case of who finds it first. Fists (and kicks) will fly here.
WINNER: Taisumov
METHOD: KO/TKO

Michael Prazeres Vs Mads Burnell (LW)
Danish stand out Burnell makes his octagon debut and will be out to impress. There's no easy fight in the UFC unfortunately as he will find out.
WINNER: Prazeres
METHOD: Submission

Rustam Khabilov Vs Desmond Green (LW)
Tough one to call. If Green is 'The Predator' then Khabilov then Khabilov is a terminator! Its just a case of which one will take home the decision after three rounds?
WINNER: Green
METHOD: Decision

Francimar Barroso Vs Aleksandar Bakic (LHW)
Bakic is an absolute beast and has been knocking oppoents out for fun on the domestic scene. Will be interesting to see if he can produced the goods against a UFC calibre fighter.
WINNER: Bakic
METHOD: KO/TKO

Bojan Mihailovic Vs Abdul-KErim Edilov (LHW)
Could be lights again for Mihailovic.
WINNER: Edilov
METHOD: KO/TKO

Thibault Gouti Vs Andrew Holbrook (LW)
The Frenchman will probably wave goodbye to his UFC career when he loses here.
WINNER: Holbrook
METHOD: Submission
