SMUGGLING DUDS UFC FIGHT NIGHT 99 GAMBLING GUIDE!

We’ve only just recovered from picking four combined prediction/method picks at UFC 205 and here we are again with our third instalment of the Smuggling Duds Gambling Guide! Enjoy.

Main Card
Gegard Mousasi vs. Uriah Hall (MW)
If you didn’t know already, these two have fought before and Urijah Hall pulled a jumping spinning back kick out of nowhere to score a 2nd round TKO. This won’t happen again. Mousasi is on a mission for revenge and he’s going to get it. Expect a late stoppage from the Armenian and at least a No1 contender bout early next year.
PREDICTION: Mousasi
METHOD: KO/TKO

Ross Pearson vs. Stevie Ray (LW)
Originally scheduled to face James Krause, Smuggling Duds team member Ross Pearson now fights late replacement Stevie Ray. This fight could have easily taken place on a domestic card but fortunately for us, now takes place in the UFC. This will be an awesome tear-up and probably more entertaining than the main event. Both fighters can bang and have impressive knockouts on their resume but ‘The Real Deal’ has never lost two fights in a row during his whole career and won’t want to make it three. Pearson has the ability to score a KO but might play it a little safer and use his awesome movement to score a clear decision victory.
PREDICTION: Pearson
METHOD: Decision

Timothy Johnson vs. Alexander Volkov (HW)
This one won’t be pretty and we could be at risk of some serious lay and pray. Volkov seems to have gotten back on track and could walk away with a big knockout victory in his UFC debut.
PREDICTION: Volkov
METHOD: KO/TKO

Artem Lobov vs. Teruto Ishihara (FW)
Lobov is as tough as old boots but Ishihara is a superstar on the rise and defeating the team mate of Conor McGregor is only going to add to his stocks. Expect an amazing interview afterwards.
PREDICTION: Ishihara
METHOD: KO/TKO

Preliminary Card (UFC Fight Pass)
Ian McCall vs. Neil Seery (FW)
This is pretty unfair on us to have to pick the winner of a fight between two Smuggling Duds team members! The fans are in for a treat here with McCall taking a decision victory and Seery retiring from UFC duties.
PREDICTION: McCall
METHOD: Decision

Magnus Cedenblad vs. Jack Marshman (MW)
Cage Warriors champion Marshman gets a crack in the UFC, and rightly so, but unfortunately Cedenblad has the tools to cut the party short.
PREDICTION: Cedenblad
METHOD: Submission

Kyoji Horiguchi vs. Ali Bagautinov (FW)
Seriously tough fight to call and this one could go either way, it really could. Head says Bagautinov though.
PREDICTION: Bagautinov
METHOD: Decision

Kevin Lee vs. Magomed Mustafaev (LW)
Two immensely talented fighters but Mustafaev has looked amazing and we don’t think Lee is going to be able to do enough to stop his opponent’s assault on the UFC light weight division.
PREDICTION: Mustafaev
METHOD: KO/TKO

Anna Elmose vs. Amanda Cooper (SW)
Elmose’s UFC career got off to a terrible start but she’s had six months to regroup and something tells us she may get a stoppage herself this time out but more likely a decision win.
PREDICTION: Elmose
METHOD: Decision

Justin Ledet vs. Mark Godbeer (HW)
Godbeer once fought on Bellator and it didn’t work out too well for him. Expect him not to blow his UFC opportunity.
PREDICTION: Godbeer
METHOD: KO/TKO

Zak Cummings vs. Alexander Yakovlev (WW)
Either fighter could grind out a win here but on the night it will be Cummings who scores better on the score cards.
PREDICTION: Cummings
METHOD: Decision

Marion Reneau vs. Milana Dudieva (BW)
Reneau will be fighting to save her UFC career and should take this on a close decision.
PREDICTION: Reneau
METHOD: Decision

Brett Johns vs. Kwan Ho Kwak (BW)
Two undefeated fighters both making their UFC debut. Someone’s ‘0’ has got to go as they say, and it won’t be the former Cage Warriors star.
PREDICTION: Johns
METHOD: Decision
