AMBER D

Hard Dance DJ / Producer

Amber D is now one of the Hard Dance scene’s most loved and respected DJ’s and Producers. Selected as “Mixmag Future Hero of the Year” in both 2004 and 2005, she has certainly lived up to this prestigious award. Being one of the only few Hard Dance DJ’s to do an Essential Mix, live on Radio 1, you can see why this girl is so highly rated amongst her fans.

She has appeared on the cover of Mixmag and M8 Magazine, had a four page feature in Mixmag and countless interviews in regional and national newspapers all over the world, as well as TV appearances on MTV, Rapture and many more over the globe.

Now, Amber is also taking over the Electro & House scene, with her label, D’Amour Recordings, and a new guise, Amber D’Amour. Her first release, Give It Up has already been signed to “The Worlds Greatest Electro Volume 2”. She has in total, released 9 Compilations; Keep it Tidy 4, Hard Dance Republic, Tidy Weekender CD, Tidy Euphoria, Magna Live, Tidy Ibiza, Tidy Weekender LIVE, Keep It Tidy Digital & Tidy Trashed. Tidy also asked Amber to do a remix for the long awaited “Inspirations for A Harder Generation” out on Tidy. All albums available at hmv.com and tidy.com

Her productions speak for themselves; Her two-piece Amber D EP in September of 2006 was the best seller, and Amber was the first female DJ to have a whole EP dedicated just to her on Tidy. This EP got fantastic reviews throughout the world, in magazines, newspapers and online.

Amber D – “Always” received rave reviews from the likes of BK and Sander Van Doorn (who even asked for his own Dub mix to be made of this smash hit track). Even touching upon the Breaks scene when a remix of Amber D – Always was created by Breaks Heavyweights, Read The Crowd. Also getting numerous radio play on Radio 1, Kiss and Galaxy with tracks such as “I’ve Got A Feeling”, “Attack Warning”, She has also received support from Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell & Kutski with the track, “I’ve Got A Feeling” (out on Tidy). Not to mention, Amber D’s remix of Lee Haslam – Music Is the Drug that got signed to Anne Savages latest compilation album.

Ambers meteoric rise to fame has come mainly from her extensive background in music - She is a classically trained pianist and has completed a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology and has her own studio at home.

With her crowd pleasing tunes and technical skills taking her from early appearances at Golden and Goodgreef to headline sets at virtually every leading hard dance event. Culminating in summer festival appearances in Australia, and also at Godskitchen Global Gathering, Escape in The Park, Wildchild Outside, Sanctuary Festival and Creamfields in the UK, Dance Valley in Holland, plus Tidy Ibiza @ Es Paradis, Ibiza, followed by club and festival appearances in Russia, Bahrain, Dubai, Canada, USA, Australia , New Zealand, Finland, Turkey, Mallorca (BCM), and Ireland.
