SMUGGLING DUDS UFC 209 GAMBLING GUIDE!

Fresh off the success of our last outing where we absolutely smashed it out the park, here we are again with some more tips for the fantastic UFC 209 event (although we are disappointed there is not even one Diaz brother on a 209 card??)

UFC 209

MAIN EVENT
Tyrone Woodley Vs Stephen Thompson (WW)
The first time round we got this wrong but to fair the bout could have gone either way and many felt Wonder Boy should have got the nod. We think Woodley with have a tiny bit more in the gas tank this time round and have more of a solid plan for Thompson, securing a more comfortable win.
PREDICTION: Woodley
METHOD: Decision

Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs Tony Ferguson (LW)
Ferguson has proven time and time again he has the heart and skill to be a title contender but I think we all know how this one plays out. Nurmagomedov will stick to him like glue with wrestling skills we could only dream about and grind out a decision. He’ll then call out Conor McGregor. Standard.
PREDICTION: Nurmagomedov
METHOD: Decision

Rashad Evans Vs Daniel Kelly (MW)
At one time, Rashad Evans would have wiped the floor with Daniel Kelly but we think lady time may have caught up with the former TUF winner. Combine this with injury problems and it’s not looking good for ‘Suga’. There’s always a chance in combat sports that anything can happen but it’s highly unlikely Evans will come out guns blazing. Expect to see him play it safe and lose on points.
PREDICTION: Kelly
METHOD: Decision

Lando Vannata Vs David Teymur (LW)
What a scrap this is going to be. Potential fight of the night right here. Whoever lands the better shot first will be the winner.
PREDICTION: Teymur
METHOD: KO/TKO

Alistair Overeem Vs Mark Hunt (HW)
Arguably the most anticipated bout on the card for sure. Long time MMA fans will know The Reem and Hunt met years ago and Hunt fell victim to an Overeem submission (yep, youtube it if you don’t believe us!). It’s highly unlikely history will repeat itself and following his KO loss to Stipe Miocic, this could be another run of losses for the Dutchman. Don’t blink, a Mark Hunt walk away KO is invevitable.
PREDICTION: Hunt
METHOD: KO/TKO

Marcin Tybura Vs Luis Henrique (HW)
Tough one to call but we’ll go for another submission win for the Brazilian.
PREDICTION: Henrique
METHOD: Submission

Mirsad Bektic Vs Darren Elkins (FW)
Another tough one to call but Bektic might just shine on the night as he has done in his previous outings.
PREDICTION: Bektic
METHOD: Decision

Luri Alcantara Vs Luke Sanders (BW)
Sanders probably hasn’t faced anyone of Alcantara’s calibre but he should do enough to remain unbeaten.
PREDICTION: Sanders
METHOD: Decision

Mark Godbeer Vs Daniel Spitz (HW)
The Brits UFC debut didn’t go to well and we can’t help but think it could be the same result against newcomer Spitz
PREDICTION: Spitz
METHOD: Submission

Tyson Pedro Vs Paul Craig (LHW)
Two big guys who aren’t afraid to pull-out a submission even when they are on the back foot. The Scotsman really impressed us in his UFC debut but Pedro has the makings of a superstar.
PREDICTION: Pedro
METHOD: Knockout

Amanda Cooper Vs Cynthia Calvillo (STRAW)
Both fighters have very little pro mma bouts under their belt but the TUF finalist will have the edge here.
PREDICTION: Cooper
METHOD: Decision

Albert Morales Vs Andre Soukhamthath (BW)
The Asian sensation will turn a few heads in his UFC debut.
PREDICTION: Soukhamthath
METHOD: KO/TKO
