The first meeting between Nunes and Shevchenko was extremely close but it won’t be the case this time around. Nunes is proving to be quite the champion with a solid team behind her. Shevchenko is an amazing striker with some fantastic footwork but it won’t be enough. I doubt we’ll see a stoppage but it will be the Brazilian who prevails once again.

Yoel Romero Vs Robert Whitaker (MW)
What a clash of titans this one is. Two heavy hitters going head-to-head to prove who should be the interim champ. If this one goes the distance it will be a big surprise. Yoel Romero must use his superior wrestling skills to disable a Whittaker onslaught but the New Zealander has looked like a man on a mission lately and just might do the business in the last round.

Daniel Omielanczuk Vs Curtis Blaydes (HW)
Blades career took a set back when he was smashed by top prospect Francis Ngannou (but lets be honest, nobody is beating Ngannou anytime soon), and his last fight ended in controversy with a NC. Expect to see him back to winning ways with a gritty win over the Polish veteran.

Fabricio Werdum Vs Alistair Overeem (HW)
Both have a win over each other (Werdum by sub in Pride and Overeem on points in Strikeforce) so this is a rubber match where the winner will remain in the UFC heavyweight contender pool and loser shall risk becoming a division gatekeeper.

Anthony Pettis Vs Jim Miller (LW)
The days of Anthony Pettis living up to his ‘Showtime’ moniker seem to be long gone. A devastating loss to Max Holloway in his last outing means he needs to get back to winning ways but we are going for the upset here and the rugged Miller to prove why he should never be underestimated.

Travis Browne Vs Oleksiy Oliynik (HW)
On paper, Oliynik might look like an easier opponent than the Hawaiian has faced in recent fights (Browne is currently 0-3) but here’s the thing, Browne hasn’t performed at all lately and his long limbs are perfect for a submission specialist to get hold of. The only reason we would back Browne is that he knows he has to win or else he’ll be cut. For us, its not enough and we see him losing again.

Late replacement Laprise steps in to fight the brother of seasoned MMA journeyman Chris Camozzi. This shouldn’t matter too much and the TUF Nations winner will take home the ‘W’

Santos pulled it out the back with a ferocious spinning heel kick KO in his last fight against Jack Marsham. Meerschaert has been making opponents give up for fun (he’s won his last 4 by submission) and we foresee the party to keep on going for him.
