SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST AT OPTIMUS FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP!

Smuggling Duds are proud to announce that we are hitting the MMA scene again sponsoring some of the UK’s best MMA talent Chris Petrie. He will be wearing our orange boxer shorts for the weigh in and hoody for his cage entrance at the Optimus Fighting Championship.

Optimus fighting Championships will be held at the Newcastle Metro Arena on Sunday 18th April and will see Chris and other top ranked fighters from across the globe, fighting it out in a 16 man open weight tournament, this is live an old UFC or Pride style tournament. Chris will have to win 3 fights on the night to be crowned champion. The event is headlined with Heavy hitter, Powerhouse and Ian ‘The Machine’ Freeman protégé Darren Towler (3-2) from ‘Team Machine’ taking on The All American Wrestler, MMA Legend and UFC Hall of Famer which is Dan ‘The Beast’ Severn (88-15-7). This will be ‘The Beast’ last UK appearance for this Pioneering MMA Veteran before drawing the curtain on a glorious and celebrated career which has spanned decades as he is set to retire from fighting in Professional Mixed Martial Events. The weigh ins are open to the public at the Hilton Hotel, Gateshead at 12.00pm, Sat 17th April.
