Smuggling Duds are proud to announce the signing of one of Britain’s premier MX2 pro motocross rider in Max Anstie. He also joins the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Team for the 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship and at just 22 years old this technically accomplished Brit already has a wealth of experience from the amateur ranks, AMA nationals, AMA supercross and three seasons in the MX2 GP class.
Anstie’s potential on a MX bike are without question – a simple look at his style and speed from trackside are a useful gauge – and at times he has already attained some results that his pedigree deserves with two podium finishes in two years of GP ‘education’ in 2011 and 2012. Son of former 500 GP World Championship Marvyn Anstie, Max has moved back from his Californian headquarters to the UK for 2014 where a promising union with the Dixon Bike It Yamaha team and their YZ250F could spur the most prolific spell of his diverse career so far. With three years left in MX2-GP and such a solid background in the sport, this articulate and approachable athlete is a solid investment with plenty of highlights to come.
